The Walkersville High School PTSA will be awarding scholarships to graduating seniors who have made a positive impact on WHS and the Walkersville community.

Applicants or at least one of their parents/guardians must be a registered WHS PTSA member prior to March 17, 2023. If you are uncertain whether you meet this requirement, membership may be confirmed by contacting Cara Boledovic, PTSA President, at. WHSLionsPTSApresident@gmail.com

The PTSA hopes to recognize as many of these outstanding young people as possible. 

The WHS PTSA has several requirements that need to be met before any application is even considered for a scholarship.

  1. All applicants or at least one of their parents/guardians must be a registered WHS PTSA member prior to March 17, 2023.
  2. Applicant must fully complete and submit the application with attachments via email to WHSLionsPTSAscholarships@gmail.com prior to 3:00 p.m. on Friday March 31, 2023NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
  3. Applicant must submit an unofficial copy of their high school transcript with the application.
  4. The application must be filled out completely and legibly.
  5. No applications will be accepted after the due date above.

Applications for the WHS PTSA scholarship are available on Naviance, PTSA Website and on the PTSA bulletin board.  A panel of at least three PTSA members (not Senior Parents) will review and score all received applications.   At a May PTSA meeting, monetary awards will be voted on by members present.  Students will receive notification at the Senior Awards Ceremony.
